I've seen videos on YouTube about this and there is a video in motion option in the headunit in bimmercode but there isn't 1 in mine ... did they do an update and remove it ?

Does your car have ID6 or ID7? Also, do you have live cockpit? Wonder why your module says HU_NBT_EVO when the others (including mine) says HU_MGU. I've seen HU_NBT_EVO only in the older G01 X3 which had ID6 I believe. Either that or it had a downgraded be soon of the ID7.

Does yours look like the first or the second one in the pictures below?

That's why. Your car has the older iDrive version. In that version, typically, the VIM option should be under a subsection called Video, right after the Sport display option in Bimmercode (in your screenshot). Unfortunately, you are missing that. Looks like the only way would be to long code it.
Try the long coding option and see if you can find any of the following values (these are values from Esys IIRC). It should be similar in Bimmercode but not necessarily. SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX werte = FF SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN werte = FF VIDEO_HANDBRAKE set to: nicht_aktiv VIDEO_FRONT_LOCKED set to: nicht_aktiv VIDEO_SPEEDLOCK_CONDITION set to: none=00 SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MIN: Werte = 1F SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MAX: Werte = 3F If you're using an iPhone, it shouldn't be too hard since I believe you can search for all options as soon as you enter the long/expert coding option in HU_NBT_EVO. If you're using the android version of the app, it might be more time consuming since, you'll have to open each sub-module and then search. If you find the values above, change it to the settings mentioned next to it (the actual value in your car will be different) and code. If it worked, you'll notice a speedlock message pop up in your idrive and it'll ask you to follow some instructions. In some cases, after coding, it won't show anything. Apparently, you'll have to then turn the car off and back on again and it should show the speedlock message (asking if you want to disable speedlock or something of that sort). It's a risk you'll have to take (I know this works for cars that have the older ID system but I've never tried it on a G20 (because I haven't seen one in person that has the older ID system)). Please make sure you back up your settings before messing with it (I think BC backs it up automatically but I'm not 100pc sure). Also, make a note of the original values your car has (if you ever need to undo the coding and for some reason, BC didn't make a back-up). If something goes wrong, I will not be held responsible. Do it at your own risk.

There's a 97% chance that that should work, if he can find the sub modules I've mentioned. But in rare cases, people have had their iDrive stuck in a loop and a dealer visit is required. That can happen with any coding though, even short codings already present in bimmercode. That is why my disclaimer about trying it at their own risk. I don't want anyone blaming me if, God forbid, something like that happens.

I did it exactly this way, but it does not work. I tried Bimmercode normal, extended and i coded the values with e-sys.
I pushed my idrive to the front and got the message to disable Speedlock and it was marked. But i can´t play any video while driving. Are there additional codings necessary on a F82 Comp 2020? Quote:

Thank you |

There´s only one value that needs to be coded...
It´s in the HU_NBT or HU_MGU and called Speedlock_Freischaltmenu. This value needs to be set to active. After that you can do the following combination: Hold your iDrive controller upwards (to the front of your car) and while holding it press Media -> Menue -> Media. This should open the Speedlock menue where you can disable the speedlock. Worked in my F30 with NBT Evo and now in my G21 with MGU. This doesn´t work in the G20 LCI.
