Well, you are going to be asleep for a long while, Rip Van Winkle. There are better odds that Cadillac or dare I say, Genesis, would produce something akin to that before BMW would.

Idk what your issue is with the E90. It was excellent, I still love driving mine. The steering is telepathic, the interior is higher quality than the F30, and it's styling is still very modern. When it was new it was heads and shoulders above any of its competitors. Aside from reliability costs I've never heard a negative thing about it.

You 'mirin?
mirin your pre lci e90? lol

Enough evolution

Pretty but it is a bit deja vu. It is time for something new. Come on BMW shake up the segment you created.

That rear looks a bit too much like the IS models. Hopefully it has its own flavor when it does release.

My concern is the driving dynamics. Will it return to being a BMW? Or will it continue to be numb and boring like the F30? They absolutely shat the bed on the current model.
couldn't agree more to the first part, but disagree with you on the second part.

the f30 is one of the best 3 series i've ever owned as an OVERALL car. i own a 328i and damn it serves its purpose well. the e90 was the most shit model they ever produced. more people will agree with this than anything.
Lol you got it switched around. The F30 was the most shit model they ever made. You feel disconnected. Feels like a fucking honda accord. The E90 captured that BMW feel just like the generations before it

Rear look good! Front looks awkward. Pumper vents look wrong and don't like those nibs on the bottom of head lights

Lol. The accord actually drives real nice for its price point, try the sport model with the 2.0 motor😉

Shows what bmw has become from the f series

While I agree, the F30 is the worst gen 3 series ever, the e90 at this point has become insanely dated. The interior with the low tech dash and navi have become dinosaurs. The steering which gets a ton of praise due to feedback is often overlooked due to being very annoying and providing way too much road noise / vibration into the steering wheel, that's before you even consider how slow the steering rack is. I if you discount the N54 (Bmw's first turbo gas motor for many years), I don't think the e90 would be considered nearly as good as it was.

Why does every design feature seem to "grow on people" or "look great in person"? And the next 3-series will be different? Ok.

Carry on.
Sales figures are meaningless to enthusiasts. Just saying.

Plenty of Grandma and Grandpa Badge Whores to keep the BMW sales train rolling.

Looks great, the f30 was a great car with some suspension mods, this will no doubt build on that success, especially with the b series engines which are proving to be solid performers as well as the s58 set to improve on the shortcomings of the s55

If my recent test drive of the g30 is anything to go by, the interior and build quality will be a step up too

The m340 or m3 will most likely be my next car depending on my circumstances at that time

Good job with the renders.

Unfortunately, the car looks like it's going to be HUGE. That'll mean a pass from me. :/

And...I think I'm done with BMW's after this lease.

The design has really just failed over the past few years. The interiors all look the same.

I test drove the new S4 and thought that exterior and especially interior was light years ahead of any 3/4/5 series.

Some people don't need all the latest tech. It's just distracting if you ask me. Complaining about too much road feel in a modern sport sedan? Isn't that part of what made BMW the ultimate driving machine?

I'm loosing hope for humanity and what it means to actually be a car enthusiast.

Wait.. are the halos dead? Why are all the legendary design elements being tossed? Why is this car massive? Great render, terrible looking car. Forced design looks Japanese actually.

Never forget..
