Looking for someone who hardwired their dashcam or radar detector using mirror taps on the LCI G20.

I read a thread recently regarding mirror taps. An LCI owner found out that the mirror and, therefore, the radar detector/dashcam were getting power for hours after the car was turned off. This seems to be different from the pre-LCI G20s, which turned off power 6 minutes after the car was turned off.

Does anyone else have any experience with mirror power on the LCI?

My radar detector shuts off after minutes. That person must have installed it wrong.
