I wouldn't go with anything other than a ceramic coating. It's worth it. |

So I finally got round to having the paintwork sorted today. Must say, I don't know why I put it off for so long.
What a difference! I'm a happy boy...

When I pick up a new car I tell the dealer to not even wash it. Straight to detailer from the dealer, the detailer can then sort the factory finish and ceramic coat and/or PPF.
Small price to pay for the results.

Probably washed every couple of weeks at a hand car wash where they include free swirls or just by the dealer who I wouldn't trust to wash an apple. They don't tend to follow the basics of washing cars safely.

Similarly mine had a few thousand km when I bought it, had been driven by the business manager. It had swirls and marring all over the individual paint, unbelievable! Didn't bother asking the dealer to correct the paint as they would've probably made it worse. A day after collection I gave it a single stage paint correction and applied a couple layers of ceramic coating - perfect.
Furthermore, when my car goes in to the dealer for service I specifically tell them NOT to wash the car and leave a big note on the dash as a reminder too. Dealers are the worst culprits in introducing swirls to paint IMO |
