Anyone received a new car during lockdown?

There is certainly a backlog with 330e. I think our lease company have temporarily taken it off the car list. Fingers crossed I will still get it at some point. The order exists, just not scheduled anymore.

I can understand why the 330e might be in demand and with my sensible head on I'd have waited and gone for a G21 version of one of those; however, as I'm looking to keep this one long-term, I viewed it as probably my last chance to get a new six-pot petrol and hence M340i it was. Coronavirus has since served as a reminder that you never know quite what's round the corner so I'm happy I let heart rule head with this particular decision!

Mine was ordered late Nov/early Dec via ALD and has been available since start of April, I just can't get it delivered as the dealership is closed.

Hi folks. Anyone happen to know whether Thorne/Southampton is likely to go back to work any time soon (I understand that most of Thorne were furloughed and that's where my car is)? Appreciate it's all very fluid, but I'm likely to be needing to be using vehicle for work very soon.

I spoke to Partridge BMW, Hampshire last week as my 330e is waiting for me there. The chap informed me that they now have their plans in place to deliver cars in a safe fashion, they are just waiting for these plans to be approved by the fleet companies (Arval, in my case).
He was hopeful deliveries could start in the next 2 weeks.
I am hoping I get a phone call this week 🤞

I have an M340 on order from Partridge. I've not had any contact from them since lockdown and I haven't chased them yet. Did they contact you or you them?

I have been informed that there may be movement! My car is either at Thorne or Southampton? The retail sales manager is still working and suggested I may get may car sooner rather than later. No timescales yet though.

I heard back from BMW that they are in discussion with the logistics companies today/tomorrow and hope to have an update to share shortly thereafter.

The same for me, it has been there since the start of all this but today the dealer told me they estimate 14 days to get it to me but they do rely on BMW to do their bit

After a 6 week delay, my old Lex car collection was rearranged and it was collected yesterday by BCA so system is starting to move again.

BCA meant to collect my old car early April - still in the drive and heard nothing.

Would imagine you will hear soon. Guy that collected mine had literally just got back to work that day and was starting on the backlog. Mine was originally due for collection 24th March.

My car's also being supplied by Park Lane and I believe it's at Thorne after the scheduled delivery was postponed due to coronavirus. I was half expecting to hear something about a revised delivery date last week but didn't; however, if there's no contact early next week I think I'll get in touch to see what's happening. In my mind I was thinking I should get the car either late May or early June and I'm still hoping that will be the case.

If BMW follow their normal pattern MY21 cars will be produced from September but you'll need a better deal on a new order just to cover the effects of the April price increase and, depending on the model you've ordered, the increase in VED. So I'd say keep the faith - if your new one's already at either Thorne or Southampton you'll almost certainly have it within the next three weeks!

BCA were collecting mine on March 30th and have heard nothing from them either. They were supposed to pick it up from my dealer as they kindly were letting me leave it there when I collected my new M340i. The car is at home with me so I need to take it there when they open I guess.

I was hoping to hear from the dealer this week but nothing so far.
