330e water trickling noise on electric start-up
Hi, If I start the car on electricity only, after a couple of seconds there is a very quiet sound of water trickling for a couple of seconds (behind the dash) & then quiet again. On ICE cars this is usually air going through the heater matrix & a sign of a coolant leak. However, I have kept an eye on both fluid levels in the engine bay (not sure the difference between the two tanks) and correct levels & no drop in levels. I also believe heating is electric-only (?) in 330e. Is this a characteristic or a fault? Does your 330e make the same noise? Many thanks

Hi, I've only had my car less than a week (after about a nine month wait!) and I also get a very noticeable sound of water when first pulling away. It's almost as if there was water lying on the roof which runs into the surround of the boot aperture.
Can't quite decide if it's also a little prone to getting steamed up for the first minute or so. |

I have the same thing, only when it's rained though so I also believe it's water running off the roof into the boot surrounds. Must have a drain reservoir running down the back. No water sound when it's dry
