Changing from staggered to square setup

Hi, I am considering buying a g20 M340i xdrive that runs a staggered setup. I am sure it handles better as a result but as a practical matter it isn't what I want. Part of the reason is that I run 4 studded tires in the winter, they are quite necessary because of the rural roads and driveway that I use daily. I don't want to deal with two different tire sizes. Also, when I go back to summer tires I will probably take of the 19" x 8.0" & 19" x 8.5" staggered setup for the same reason.

For the studded tires I will probably go with 18" wheels but for the summer I will stay with 19". Does anyone know of a chart that shows recommended wheel widths, offsets, etc. by specific model?

Thanks

What staggered wheels? Cerium 792s by chance? If so, would you be interested in a trade? https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...3#post29793673

The thing I did was to find the pricing guide for my car. It lists wheel model numbers, sizes, and tire sizes for your car. Then I went to alloy wheels direct and looked up the specific wheel model number. It should have the offset of the wheel.

My manual also listed all the tires sizes that were ‘compatible’, presumably for the stock configs.

My car just arrived with staggered summers and I swapped out for square winter tires.

That is exactly what I ended up doing. I found a set of used 19x8s and have winter tires on them.
