They can along way, big improvement in last few years

I really hope it gets fully revealed at Frankfurt car show. Wish they would confirm so I can go there and see it in Person.
You haven't because almost nobody with ZFat cares enough about regularly tracking their cars. There's an M235i made to racing specs with Wagner intercooler at my local indy shop, and even then the car sometimes refuses to downshift after few hard laps.

Hey, as long as they shift faster than DCT, rev near 8,000 rpm and provide consistently instantaneous response to manual shifting I don't mind the torque converter.

This is their last pure ICE M3, and I sincerely hope that they make an uncompromised machine rooting from Motorsport.

I did drive mine F90 M5 pretty hard and didn't see problem at all

But the transmission in M5 is different and hopefully the new M3

Needs AWD to address F80 traction issues

Needs to not be ugly

Needs a very high quality full leather interior (cooled seats!)

gimme that and I'm probably in. That front end is the biggest wild card. If that's bad there is no way I buy.

6MT and the grill is not huge and ugly.

Happily 6MT will be there but I’m just afraid that the grill will look awful which sadly it’s looking more and more like it.

Now that G20 6-cylinder is out and doesn't come with 6MT. And there are no other sports sedans on the horizon that will offer a combination of 6-cyl and 6MT, I can say with pretty much a 100% confidence that I don't care what G80 M3 will look like, I'll have to get it in about 3 years. They can slap the grill from X7 on it, as long as it doesn't fall off while in motion, I'll take the new M3.

I wish that was the case for me but if I buy a car it has to looks reasonably good, grilles included.

It's actually the main reason why I ordered a 2020 M4 recently!

It's gonna look reasonably good I have no doubt. You already know you're getting Lexus rear lights, how much worse can it get, lol

Also does anyone know if it's going to come with those horrible gauges/stack from G20
