Will dealership install new OEM console trim parts?

I am taking delivery on a M340i with aluminum tetragon trim soon. I want to change the console trim with another color trim OEM parts (it's 3 parts.) I've identified the right parts and color, but I don't know how I would them installed. Should I ask the dealer to do this upon delivery? Do I need to ask a speciality shop to do it?

A fair deal to me is I pay full retail for the accessories and they put them on for free as part of dealer prep. Otherwise I'd threaten buying the trim through a third party and installing it yourself. I'd bet they'd take that deal when it's part of a new car purchase.

Agreed if you still did not commit to the purchase I am sure you could have them throw in the trim pieces.

If you already made a deal they should still be willing to help you.

Just tell them you will NOT be happy with the metal hexagon trim and see what they say.

You might be able to sell the spare trim pieces to someone who purchased the crappy matte wood like me who wants to change over although I am not doing that anytime soon but surely someone would buy your spares
