The 2020 models have a mood reader built in that it automatically senses and adjusts to your mood. Mine comes on mostly red.

Would love to be able to code more colours in to the car... It's a shame we only get a handful compared to the offerings from Audi or Merc

Ambient lighting on a BMW is orange. Always has been. Always will be in my car.

Changed mine to orange as well. Sometimes do Orange and white or orange alone.

I only do Blue because I have a PB blue exterior, but Orange looks best as it is uniform with the rest of the control lighting.

I usually do the Lilac in the day and change it for night driving to orange. Makes the cabin a little darker but not a tomb.

Agreed, although the blue looks best overall imo, but I have the cognac vernasca on my 340 and I've left it on lilac for the last month or so. Def grew on me. Plus every g20' I see everyone has it on blue. Orange def is the most streamline with the console and gauges tho. Rocked the blue a month, Orange for 2 days and lilac for the last month.

I keep mine blue since it complements the little bit of blue on the temperature dials, etc. Orange makes the most sense but it's just not a color I'm that fond of.

I like blue but I don't like how they contrast with my cognac seats, so I go with boring white.

I have set it to Bronze. It fits perfectly with Cognac leather and the piano black trim and creates a relaxed atmosphere at night.

Mine is lilac. I'd like to try a few different colours but it's a no go, my 4yo won't have it. Tried to change a couple of times but she notices the second she gets in the car, then she's on me like a hawk. She will not even entertain a hypothetical discussion about the other colours.

Once I thought I'd got her when I suggested that the blue would be Elsa colour. But she realised I was trying to manipulate her and shut me down.

Lilac for me, I think it looks best on my Ivory Merino interior.

All colours show up on the white leather pretty well but lilac just has that premium feel to it imo.

Second for me would be orange as it's the classic BMW ambient colour and matches the buttons - but I don't opt for it as I may as well be in my F30 again!

A few of us figured out how to do with esys...check it out! I've coded in red, dark green and some cool dark violets and hot pink for the wife. I have verified that it works with G20 and G07 (and most likely would work with G05)

I'm actually having a really hard time figuring out which ambient lighting color I like the most. Maybe some feedback will help! What color are you currently using?
