Another sauber crashed....seemed like the back-end is really unstable. or Pedro got on the power too early.
RBR in SV hands are fast despite Ferraris and Mercs looked very strong yesterday.

The Ferraris are finally starting to look competitive.

The start is gonna be great. Massa and Alonso have nothing to lose, and will be looking to get ahead of Vettel .

I don't get why Jerome D’Ambrosio being allowed to race, he qualified outside the 107% and during all practice sessions, he's been hovering around 1:20s lap time. I do not see him anywhere competitive.
And its not like he had a mechanical failure that he wasn't able to post a lap time.

Nice 1-2-3. I agree... The start will be epic with Alonso looking to overtake SV.

I agree...He and Karthekeyen or however you spell it just get in the way until they break...

They should relegate the bottom two teams back to F2, and require the top 2 teams in F2 to race in F1...sorta like the relegations process in the English Premier League.

I don't think the relationship between F1 and F2 is quite as strong as you expect. The current main feeder to F1 is GP2, but both GP2 and F2 use a formula chassis and no real developement. They aren't compatible to F1 at all.

I also found Qualifying to be a bore fest.

Vettel on pole, what else is new. Hardly what I'd call exciting.

Seriously.

I remember when Q3 was always just as, if not more exciting than the race itself.

It is really exciting if you like watching pretty boy racers, in high tech yet very delicate cars, drive a short distance a few times a year, on the off chance that someone else besides the faster driver in the team with the fastest car might set pole or win the race.

You can blame the sheer dominance of Red Bull for that. Reminds me of the Ferrari days in the early 2000's - no matter what rule change was made, they always ended up on top.
