Im crossing my fingers with both of you guys. ^^^^
My car still shows in transit to port from factory since 10 days ago. Genius hotline says in all likelihood the car is at the port waiting for a ship. That the transport from factory to port only takes 2-3 days. I hope we're all aboard the Courage... that is if its picking up BMW's and not VW or ford products. (its last stop before mexico was brunswick sc ... which is the performance center for BMW, so I have faith) |

The wait would be much easier if there was more certainty. I really wish the tracking process would give info on what boat your car is getting shipped on and when the boat is expected to arrive. Not knowing if the car will be in the ‘Ready For Transport’ stage for a few days or 3-4 weeks can be nerve wracking. |

I feel the pain you guys In the ready to transport stage are it is nerve wracking and the unknown makes it worst. My car was suppose to be delivered today at the dealer but it's still at the port. I'm in no rush tho since I do plan to pick it up next weekend

The 3-4 of us above are all stuck at the port in mexico. So we are at least 2 weeks or more out before we get our cars. Post some pics so we can all be jealous when you pick up. And congrats on the new car!!!!! |

Lol I know it's tough try not to think about it about it's about a 8-10 week process so should be taking delivery around the 2nd week in December. I'm in week 10 lol

It also might depend on the size of the dealer that you're ordering from. I've seen people receiving production numbers as soon as they place their order. For me it took a whole month to get hold of a production slot as I lived in a small town in central Illinois and was placing my order at the time when 2020 models went out of production. Received my production schedule early august and my car's still on the ship

Ohh ok so sounds like your dealership took a while to get a build allocation. When the 2020s went out of the production that was a common theme. Once the order is received by the factory they give a production # within 10 days
