Personal cosmetic enhancements 330i sport line

So I took some time this weekend to do some wrapping on my g20. I wrapped the window trim, took the front reflectors out and wrapped them, added some eyelids to the headlights. Currently looking at options for a lip spoiler and looking for a lip to come out for the sport line bumper. Overall what the car has done:
-Tail lights sprayed with transparent black paint and clear coat
-Rear reflectors sprayed like tail lights
-Wheels painted gloss black
-30% Window tints Back and sides
-Window trim wrapped black (originally chrome)
-Grille color matched (originally chrome)
-Front reflectors wrapped black
-Custom eyelids
-Black and chrome badges
-Full paint correction and ceramic coating
(Some of the pictures were taken during the process of changing up the look of the car)

Sweet looking ride! Nice to see a fellow sportline owner in IL. I've seen a few G20s around but none of them see to be members on here.

And yes. Our cars need a front lip real bad.

Yes! It seems most of the people who are really indulged in the new 3 series are owners of M340i's. Most of the people I see driving the 330i are much more just your typical car owners and not enthusiasts.

I recently polished up the tips, I'm not a huge fan of the black chrome exhaust tips. The tips do look very dull in those pictures but they look much better now. I'll try to snag a quick pic tomorrow and post it so you can get an idea of how it looks.

Ah gotcha. Since you were blacking everything out, I only noticed your chrome tips. That is why I mentioned blacking the tips out too. But yes. Chrome can cut through the all black look to give a slight pop and won't look out of place with the chrome inner headlamp shroud.
I painted mine using spray paint and it came out matte instead of gloss (like the can mentioned). But it isn't too bad since I have matte black on my car as well and it doesn't look too out of place.

If I were to build on the foundation you already have in place...my next move would be wheel spacers - but only if you're like me and like things to sit flush. A relatively simple and inexpensive mod that really makes a big visual difference.

BMS
Dinan
Macht Schnell

Are all popular choices if you decide to go down the spacer path

Again well done

I have been looking into this. My plan as of now is to finish off the car with physical body changes, a lip spoiler is already on the way and then I need to find a decent front lip. Then I will consider spacer options more seriously and perhaps even wheels. Mike from X-PH said they are working on developing on developing front lips for the G20 and keeping the sport line bumper into consideration, he said they should be available come early-mid summer. So I’ll sit tight on that. If they don’t come out with anything I guess I will have to go the JC Sportline route. Although I do hope something a bit more aggressive or something with a more pleasing price will come out.

Here is better pictures of the tip after polishing, it snowed here the other day so the car is a bit dirty, and they got a bit duller down from the salt... Now I have to polish again, but nonetheless it gives a better idea of how they look.

The chrome definitely looks nice. My only issue was trying to keep it clean, especially with all the baked in soot. Which is why I got it de-chromed.

Also, can you post better pics of the eyelids? Like in daylight? Where did you get it from?

For anything you didn't do yourself is there a shop in the area you'd recommend for these mods? Nobody I know has anywhere to recommend and I don't want to go into a shop blind

I've been to A&L autobody in Palatine a few years ago to get my B9 A4 lowered. They were the cheapest of the lot when it came to labor costs. And they did a splendid job. I then realized they worked on a lot of German cars. I've also recommended them to a few of my friends and all of them were extremely happy with them (when it came to rates and quality of labor).

How did you get the wheels black, and is it pretty durable?

From my experience, it's usually a middle aged woman driving right on the speed limit…but maybe she's a car enthusiast?

FouadB that's a nice rear diffuser. Where'd you find that? Good looking 330i so far too.

Have you taken the tips off? If so, how did you do it and what are the key points to take them off?
