Cig outlet issue

So today when I was taking the plug that powers on my valvetronics system, it broke and the tip and the insides came out of it. I tried putting it back together but not it just pops out and won’t stay in the socket. Is this something I could do myself to fix or will I need to order a new plug

I wouldn't even mess with jerry-rigging electrical components. Buy a new plug. Wouldn't want your interior burnt to a crisp

Yeah that’s what I did. I wanna see if there’s another alternative then routing the cable all the way from the trunk to the front cupholders
