Yes it has been a lot colder in the morning lately and so that could well be the reason. Thanks.

Also how did you get your display to show Mi/kWh?
Its not bad, but thats not from a single charge. Thats from a charge and then any regen over the remainder of the 77 miles total journey.

Setting for electric mil/kwH is in Car -> Settings -> General Settings -> Units. I think.

Has anyone else found that the recent OTA updates have reduced the typical electric miles range indicated when first driving after a charge? I've found that though the indicated total is lower, I actually get around the same total electric mileage.

I think the OTA update has definitely improved the algorithm for predicting the electric range.

I've found this. The new update has completely skewed the range figures.

Yesterday morning I checked the app and it said I had 14 miles range. I asked Alexa and she said 33 miles. Once I'd got into the car it said 17 miles but I got my usual 40 miles electric usage (31 plus 9 though regen) not having the heating system on at all.

The whole range figure seems to jump around a lot. For a while it was only showing 24 miles. Then changed back to showing 31 now since the update it's half of what I actually get!

I've only ever had 2020.11 installed so no real reference, but find the indicated range totally useless. Don't tend to take any notice of it at all.

I’m beginning to feel that BMW had to fill a space on the digital dash and so the (RMNG) Random, Meaningless, Number Generator was created.

I stopped using this number as a mileage guide a long time ago.

Joe Achilles latest vid is a review on the 330e. He mentions MGP within, might be worth a watch.
