Is it that bad?.....I was hoping it may be slightly different as I was originally going to order mine in Black, I know it will be bad given it is dark, but kinda hoping not too bad.

Also the Mineral Grey makes the grill stand out more, especially in black

Mine looks great after washing and polishing but the next day (having driven nowhere) you can see a film of “fallout” or dust on the car. My wife’s car, parked right next to it on the drive, presumably has the same deposits but you can’t see them. I live in a rural location and the farmer behind is busy ploughing and seeding, so it’s fairly dusty in the air but it’s really noticeable on mineral grey

She's finally arrived! (Albeit with the detailer for ceramic coating for another day before I get my hands on it)

I'm lucky in that I've got the entire spec I ordered with no chip shortage deletes:
M Sport Pro - Dravit Grey
Tech Plus with DAP and H&K
Comfort Plus Pack

I debated visibility but I had a G20 prior to the G21 and was very impressed with the look and performance of the standard LED's even with my dark rural commute so didn't feel the £1k+ was worth it.

You'd be surprised how the paint comes out from the dealers sometimes after their 'wash'! Although this is more future proofing with protection than detailing

The ceramic coating is worth it, especially on the Dravit Grey!

What coating have you opted for?

The coating is one called Futureproof+ which is their own branded coat. They really know their stuff and I'm aware of the source & data but they obviously want to protect their research and supply.

If you're in Hampshire, I really do recommend Envy Car Care, they come highly recommended by many in the car scene.

I'm picking up at lunch time but have just been sent another teaser pic!

I've had my first commute this morning. Coming from a G20 33i to a G21 330i the experience is much the same however I have added a few extra goodies to the latest G21 including H&K, Comfort Access and DAP.

H&K is a big improvement over the base Hi-Fi I had in the G20. Music is clearer, more crisp and bass a lot more pronounced with a high top end volume.

Comfort access I can see becoming a feature I will use daily. It's nice leaving my keys in my work bag not having to faff around to unlock/lock. Although a 'first world problem' I can see comfort access quickly becoming a feature I will spec on all future cars.

DAP/ACS is truly amazing. I was sceptical as my commute is mainly rural roads but the car adjusted it's speed perfectly with the vehicle in front and negotiated most corners. For Motorway driving at rush hour this would be a big plus.

I can see the car in the work car park and Dravit Grey certainly is turning every head that walks past. My detailer states it's one of the best/most unique colours he's worked on. In direct sunlight you get this bronze/orange glow which you need to see in person.

I haven't have a chance to take any proper photos yet however here are 2 x ANPR image captures that show the car in shade/sunlight.

High maintenance Tanzanite, worth it in the sun....

I have a deposit down on a G81. However, I am not sure it's worth it, the M340 is such a great all round package....

I love how the three different photos of your Tanzanite car all look like a different colour vehicle.

That's one of the reasons I went for Tanzanite - it's like having a car that changes colour every day!
