Hi all
It has been a few years since my old 340i was detailed and I got a knock down price at the time so have been looking at costs for getting the new m340i treated. What costs have people had on their G20s getting a paint prep and ceramic coat applied?

Seems to be 5 to 600 quid Inc wheels from what I can see near me.

CSL rather than the ultra or whatever that an authorised dealer can apply? Sounds about right. Think I paid £600 for clean, decontamination, stage 1 polish, CSL, appropriate stuff on wheels and glass and then treatment of inside with some GTechniq stuff too...

So has it arrived then..... PICS!

I think he meant that the car went for detailing straight after it was picked up from the dealership. Well, I hope he meant that!

If you are in Hampshire I used Definitions Detailing in Farnborough for my previous car (as I was down there a lot then). Good guys who know their stuff and take a pride in doing the job.

I did mean that! The dealer didn't touch it and left all the plastic on!

The detailer found a few areas needing correction, but the dealer paid him directly to sort it.

As mine is Sapphire Black I really wanted it protected to avoid swirl marks and I use 2 buckets, snowfoam and a DI to wash it!

Well worth doing the protection if you are keeping the car for a few years.

I paid around the same for a pro detailer to do a full new car protection detail and single stage finishing with CS light on mine. Still barely any swirls 3 years on.
