Just a little comparison to my previous post, same journey as the last one but no traffic at all and there is an mpg increase of 11! This car is very impressive on an economy basis as long as you let the assisted driving do it's thing

What kind of speeds are you doing? 46 miles is my daily commute (each way) and I usually get 30 miles electric but have had 180mpg a few times, always above 150. Guess you're not doing 60MPH in the slow lane? ;-)

Maybe sticking my nose in here as I don't have a 330e.....the range showing on my 330i often increases during long journeys - I do a long motorway run occasionally and I can be 40 miles into the journey and the indicated range has actually increased....presumably there is a bit of maths going on somewhere using average consumption for the current journey (that will be high as motorway cruising)? Maybe at the start of the journey it is based on overall consumption for the car since new??
I,wonder if the same applies to the 330e?? |
