Has anyone tried removing the muffler packing? I want to make my stock exhaust slightly louder but not go to a muffler delete. Has anyone just cut it open and removed the muffler packing or cutout some of the baffling? I already have a catless downpipe.

Nah but you can cut it out and put in a high performance resonator, it'll probably be louder and still be pretty decent.

if you look around this forums, someone has actually done it before. they opened it up and removed it whatever was in there. Also had videos attached to it

Yeah, this is exactly what I am looking to do. I am hoping the M340i muffler is setup the same way. It's an easy way to keep the stock look but make it louder.
