Sat in the car for about an hour setting everything up.....incredible car mate, yes well worth the 15 months of drama but bit annoying that I've picked a car up in this weather, it was absolutely filthy going over the water to Northern Ireland but it is what it is.

Niagara Highway left Veracruz 5 days ago and still no status change. I'm going to assume it's not on that boat even after BMW telling me it is.
Losing interest fast in this car now

Finally after 8 long months ( I know it could have been worse) it arrives with me this Friday, currently at dealers.

When was yours built? That is really poor if BMW/your dealer are promising it to be on a particular ship and then nothing. The only reliable bit of info from BMW chat seems to be a car at 195 is definitely at sea and 193 is about to load or unloaded. Codes seem to update within 2-3 days. If it is the chat service that promised the next boat I wouldn't put any faith in it.

Car was built mid September and been sitting at the docks since beginning of October.
It was BMW customer service who have advised they have been told by the ‘sales & planning’ team that it is on that boat.

Fingers crossed then. I think the Horizon Highway is due in Veracruz very soon too. Mine was built early September for reference, it would be nice to think they ship them in date order but who knows.

Same here. Now being told be in UK 2nd Jan. Doubtful as the ship is at anchor already 2 days late

Ordered my m340i touring in July, built december, being delivered on Wednesday.

Just a little bit dissapointed that when I ordered the car we had leather air bags, and looks like my car will come with that plastic shite.

Put a bit of a dampener on things. To me it's a massive visual downgrade on the interior.
