Currently have this coded off but I’ve read reports online that this could prevent the airbag from deploying in the event of a crash. Wondering if anyone can confirm?
My second question: Is it possible to code the chime to go off just once (or a couple of times?) I find mine extremely annoying: the moment I unlock and open the door the chime goes off immediately regardless of whether I start the engine. This is primarily why I disabled it completely. What would be ideal is if the sound only goes off after I’ve started driving without my seat belt. |

clone1008 - Yes I’m aware of such products but I’m not interested in installing them everywhere in the car. Thanks though.
I could code this on the F-series so trying to figure out if someone might have figured it out on the G series. |

Based on your question you would only have to use one of these in the driver's seat belt.

Sure. However I hate the obnoxious loud sound which goes off if a passenger has yet to put on their seat belt (just like the driver) — even placing an item heavy enough on the backseat can trigger the chime. So yeah I’d need to install everywhere. But like I said, I prefer to just code this.
