Portland M3/M4 delivery question
I have a question to Portland, Oregon M3/M4 owners...
My M4 I ordered is arriving at the Port in California today 4/11. Can you guys tell me roughly when I might expect my car to be ready at the dealership? I purchased my from BMW Portland. My CA stated two weeks! |

Depends on a lot of things. From what I gather, customs and damage could cause it to take a while longer. If there is any damage it will be repaired at the VPC to perfect condition. If the damage had exceeded a certain amount they will tell the dealer so I would ask them about it. Mine is also in CA and heading to Portland. Looks like we'll get them at roughly the same time!

Looks like mine cleared VPC early and it's going to be at the dealer on Sunday the 17th! How about you? I checked the VIN on the United Road carrier (CA verified) but got nothing.

Really depends on weather. Right now souther Oregon is pretty clear except for some small patch snow areas. I'd estimate 5-6 weeks from Oxnard (assuming that's the port it landed at). Other factors include the custom's inspection, port installed options, etc. that could delay the process. Also give a 1-2 days for "dealer prep" since the car will probably sit at the dealer lot in queue for you to take delivery.
