Hey guys ! I have a 2020 330i b46 and was wondering what's the best downpipe and the difference between catted and catless.

FYI according to my research, Catless is illegal in California other than for racing and off-road use if I'm not mistaken
u will also probably have to deal with Check engine lights if you go catless

I wonder if our cars can do an axle back exhaust with clamps so there is no welding ( I have a lease) or a y pipe.

Just don't buy a VRSF downpipe whatever you do.
They sold me one claiming it would fit my B48 G20. It didn't. After 4 weeks of contacting them almost daily, I gave up. They simply didn't want to know.

My car is an EU car with the GPF in the exhaust which means the connection between downpipe & centre section is different to US cars.

I'm sure it was an easy mistake for VRSF to not know the difference - but their after sales are so shocking I'd implore everyone to shop elsewhere

Is it possible to do a muffler delete with y pipe without welding? For lease cars?

My brother has a Subaru and was able to do clamp on with muffler delete, I'm new to BMW!

Any chance you have a video of the muffler delete. The videos out are hard to tell how it sounds. Also does the exhaust always sound the same or does it still change when switching modes

Don't worry. I welded in a y pipe for my muffler delete even though I'm on a lease. Just make sure you keep ur stock muffler so they can weld it back on for you when your lease is over. When u turn ur car back in they aren't gonna check under the car to look at welds as long as it sounds stock.

Do I have to get a custom y pipe?
