Does this fit a G20 22 M340i? I have the headed M sport steering wheel. On the website you linked, I didn't see the G20 listed.

Thanks!

It should fit. The only question is whether the trim will fit your airbag. That seems to be the only difference between model years. You should also be able to swap your trim onto this wheel to be sure the airbag slides in correctly. I’ll shoot you a private message and we can discuss.

Thanks! I just did a little further investigation based on the trim you referenced and it looks like the trim is shaped differently. This is an example of the layout of my steering wheel, but this is not mine (I don't have the M performance).

Right, but you should be able to swap your trim/buttons/wiring over to the new steering wheel.

I misunderstood what you meant by your previous post. After re-reading I researched the OEM air bag part numbers between the F90 M5 CS and the G20 M340i.

F90 M5: 32-30-8-097-022
G20 M340i: 32-30-5-A25-0D2

I'm assuming at best I would have to purchase the new airbag for this steering wheel to fit and at worst it would not work at all? Shame... I really like the look of this wheel!

Sorry, what I meant was that the opening in the trim is slightly different between different models for some reason and air bag modules don’t necessarily work on the trims that look similar but have slightly different openings for the air bag. I went through that when I swapped mine out on my Z4. But the trim can be swapped from your current wheel to the new wheel and use your current air bag module as well. Hope that makes sense. Check your private messages. I sent you my contact info if you want to discuss further.
