Hi all!

Selling my FTP Chargepipe in black since I've upgraded to a 2021 M340i. I paid around $280 for the chargepipe, but I see that it's now on sale on some website for around $250. So asking for $150. As you can tell from the pictures, it's in excellent condition. Please PM if you're interested! Serious buyers only and please no low ballers.

I prefer to have it picked up locally or I can possibly meet half way for an extra cost depending how far it is. But am open to shipping if you are a serious buyer and will pay shipping cost.

Buyer beware, this is probably a scam.

I sent payment as described and then seller insisted he was refunding because I used Venmo sale option rather than Zelle or Venmo F&F. Didn't ask me to cover fees, just refunded me less than I paid him. It cost me $5 to find out this guy's a scammer.

Again, he refused my offer to cover any fees and refunded me less than I paid him.

Now that I think about it, he was trying to get me to pay quick saying he could get it in the mail today if I paid him within the hour. Urgency is often a part of hooking someone in a scam.

I refunded the amount that I received... If you notified me that I was going to be hit with fees prior to sending it, I would've quoted you the fee on top of it. Miscommunication on both parts, no need to accuse me of being a scammer.. I said $150 plus $12 shipping, so I expect $162. I received the amount in the screenshot you posted above. I apologize for the inconvenience but I think you should've gave me a heads up that you were going to hit me with the fees in advanced.

And regarding your comment about urgency... I never pushed you to send it today. I said if you want it shipped today to confirm and send the payment within the next hour at the time because it's saturday and post office's close early at 3pm. Our message history shows it was around 1pm when I replied with that message.

And to clarify, I said quickpay, paypal, or venmo. lol.

Listen man. You got all your money back and I don't understand how you think i've been acting shady. You just accusing and attacking me is unreasonable. I've done right by you and refunded everything and even took money out of my own pocket to get your full refund. I don't think a scammer would do that. And you keep pm'ing me saying that I check all the boxes of a scammer and specifically pointing out that I stressed the urgency of payment. This is a screenshot of my msg to you. Given the date and time, I just simply pointed out the fact that if you wanted it shipped today, it would have to be soon because I sent the msg at 1:37pm. Post office closes at 3pm on Saturday, and I would have to create, buy label, and drive to the post office before closing.

Whatever man... This is my first time selling something through here and yeah I said you could've let me know about the fees beforehand, but I guess I could say the same thing to myself and brought that up first too. So I am not completely blameless. But I did everything I could to make it up to you and yet you still are coming at me sideways. Your defense that you refunded me doesn't hold up, why wouldn't you want to complete the sale? The only reasonable conclusion is that you didn't have issue with the fee, but that you had issue with the fact that I used a protected payment method.

To be honest, I do not want to sell it to you anymore, because what would stop you from doing a protected transaction and then doing a chargeback as soon as you receive the product? Especially after the fact you've been accusing me of being a scammer and jumping straight to conclusions blowing up this feed instead of talking it out like grown ups. Did you lose any money? No. Did I lose money? Yes. I'm sorry, but I do not want your business. That is the last thing I'll say. Goodbye.

A scammer hides behind a fake identity, and I've purchased CF key covers from this guy locally. He's a stand-up guy and a very personable fellow.

Looks like he did right by you by giving you the full refund in the end even if it did cost him some money out of his own pocket. I don't see any reason for this thread to continue with a bunch of accusations and assumptions on intent that cannot be proven. It was good of you to try and alert the community of a possible scammer or suspicious person, but now that everything has been resolved, I say stop w/ the toxicity and move on.

I bought the dinan intake and the bms pedal tuner from u/pewpew392 and the transaction went very smooth and he even gave me an ind emblem for free since I bought so much from him. He dropped off the package the same day after I paid. Overall a solid seller and have nothing to worry about from him.
