Hi,

I know that the F series x-drive models had to keep to the 1% circumference difference if changing wheels and/or tyres, but has this changed for the G platform cars ?

I only ask as I know the M240i and M340i share the same hardware yet the oem 893 alloys for the M240i run wheels and tyres with a difference of over 1% ?

I'm seeing a 0.8% difference between 245/35/r19 and 255/35/r19.

Thanks……Is that taking account of the different rim with as well ? Allowing for 8 1/2 front and 9 1/2 rear which they have the calculator I’m using says 1.1% difference but it sounds like that may be wrong ?

Maybe try another calculator. The rim width shouldn't matter.
