How long for G20 shipping to UK from Mexico

What's the status of your order? I was told mine was still in Mexico but then got a further update to say its at 195 so hopefully safe to assume its on a ship. Also being advised it's on track for week 47.

Was told my status is now 193

Not sure how long it takes to go 195 port exit.

Check with genius today they say the car is at the dealership code 198. Spoke to dealership it’s not there yet, still waiting for a transporter delivery. Bit odd

So just checked mine, it’s still 165 and given that no ships will be leaving Mexico for Europe in the next two weeks I very much doubt I’ll see it this year, also in the genius reply I got some corporate rubbish about the backlog being escalated to senior management, to be honest I’m really not impressed with the brand, at all and if cancelling is an option it’s very tempting

Hi all. My BMW has now been delivered as of yesterday. Hopefully the time line of mine will be of some guidance.

Ordered March 2023, in UK October 2023 (end) and delivered 3rd November.

Hope you all get your shortly as I know the pain of waiting, but when it comes it is worth the wait

My car was delivered today

My timeline was as below.

Ordered May 2nd

Built July

Shipped September 23rd

Delivered 6th Nov

7 months to order to delivery.

Why are BMW so full of sh*t?

Just been on to a "genius" . "Your car is still due for week 49 starting 4th December."

Me: "Can you advise on where my car currently is?"

"Your car is at Veracruz port"

Now the next K Line ship won't get to Southampton until 15th Dec but that was before its 5 day delay

Doubtful of getting it this year!!

So my car was ordered 02/08/23

Not sure exactly when the build finished but it is stated for week 46 and is currently 195 as of the 26th October leaving Altamira so hopefully its on horizon and due to southampton on the 12th

Spoke to my local BMW dealer today and now been told week 50
Which should be the week of the 11th December.

So now go back more or less a month from original dealer date.

I'll see if my car status changes on the 19th November if it been put on a boat from Veracruz to Southampton.

I had an initial delivery date 20th August. Collecting the car Saturday been a long wait

You can speak to BMW UK for a gesture of goodwil for the long delays. Using mine to discount a service pack

Same here, according to the leasing company I’m getting mine in 2 weeks, it’s still in Mexico !!

An update, as of 8th Nov, I'm at 195, with an ETA 25/11 so lets see, they wouldnt give me the name of the ship, despite me suggesting a few, but they gave me a carrier code, starting with A, anyone have any ideas what this is for and where I could track ??

Bristol Port handles a huge number of cars, you can see thousands of them if you ever drive over the Avonmouth Bridge.

Yeah I know, in my sad world of tracking Bmw deliveries they have been to Southampton normally

And was told that my M340i is now at sea and estimated date of delivery is the 17th December.
When I asked do they know when the ship left Veracruz I was told there system doesn't have that information.

Anyone else got any idea when it left Mexico and what ship it maybe on please?
