Waiting for the boat is usually the worst part, but I love tracking the boat once I know which one I’m on.

I put a deposit down 1/28. I got the first allocation for the dealer. I’m not sure about the exact order date.

My CA says it will be here early April depending on when BMW NA officially releases the 340.

Same here! I'm glad I noticed I missed the HK audio option late last week, had my CA put in a last minute order change.

Do we know what plant these cars are being built at? Sounds like one of the plants in Germany until the Mexico plant comes fully online?

If your VIN starts with a W, it’s from Germany. If it starts with a 3, it’s from Mexico.

Best I could do was 5% off MSRP before incentives. This took quite a bit of effort too. I walked out on my first dealer visit because they would only take $500 off MSRP.

I was able to get 10% before incentives. Same dealer I have been using for 30 years.

Good work on the 5% and the 10%. I'm assuming the 10% is a one off as you've been working with them for 30 years. Are the incentives and residuals the same as the 330? I'm interested in leasing and just wondering what my payments will be with at least 5% off.

I would say the best bet is march for M340 lease residuals but if BMW is certain none will actually arrive until april you might not see programming until then.

invoice is roughly 6-7% off msrp, using the 330 lease rates you are probably looking at, depending on state tax rules, mid/high 700s to high 800s range depending on options

I'm pricing it out now and definitely looks like I will be in the mid to high 700s. I'd need to get at least 10% off which would put me in the 600s with MSD's in order to be at a comfortable payment for me, but that's not happening until maybe year 2 or 3 of it being out.

330I MSRP $ 59,370.00 I inquired for a 36 months, 15K/year lease. No money except for incidentals. Included in the lease quote is the $2000 BMW loyalty. $790/month. Included in the price is PA 9% lease tax .Southern PA. I told CA I'll sit on the sidelines till the numbers are better.

$790 /mo for a 330? Early adopters on the 340 might be paying upwards of 900-1000 judging by that, which is insane.

Gotta look at the sticker.. that 330 being quoted is loaded to the gills, on par with a basic m340 so probably similar price to an M340 with just leather or premium

Not quite. Loaded 330xi is 62K (see below)

Loaded M340 that I saw is around 70K
or 72 with individual paint/leather

The M340i xDrive I ordered is identical to this car options wise (only package I didn't get was the tire/cooling package which isn't available on 330i) and it came to $67570 which comes to a difference of $5750. Given that the base prices for a 330i xDrive and M340i xDrive are $43245 and $56995, the fully loaded cost difference is a lot smaller than I thought. If you're fully loading a 330i it's worth it to just push to get the M340i IMO.

That poor car, left out in Boston winter waiting for someone to buy it. I hope a garage is in its future.

My point was that a 62k 330 and a 62k m340 will be about the same lease price... the m340 price is dependent on its own sticker price and options not a relationship to the 330

orders were placed a week and a half ago. Cars already in production. Not changeable.

My only hope is that the residuals are the same as 330 and not lower.
March rates are out and the disturbing trend on M cars is they are creeping down
M5, M850, M2 - all have pretty sucky rates
