M340i xDrive Sedan

Price Code Description
$56,000 Base Price U.S.A. Port of Entry
$550 B39 Mineral Grey Metallic
$1,450 MANL Black Vernasca Leather w/blue contrast stitching/piping
$500 ZDA Driving Assistance Package
$1,700 ZDY Driving Assistance Professional Package
$900 ZPK Parking Assistance Package
$1,400 ZPP Premium Package
$300 1CR Remote Engine Start
$600 1PX 19" M Double-spoke cerium grey wheels
$0 2VF Adaptive M Suspension
$0 300 Space-saver spare
$0 316 Power tailgate
$0 4KL Interior trim finishers Aluminium 'Mesheffect'
$875 688 Harman Kardon surround sound system
$500 6NW Wireless Charging
$0 6WD WiFi Hotspot
$995 Destination & Handling

$65,770 Total MSRP
starting rule of thumb is 6% off of base price and 8% off any options. Also be sure to ask for the vehicle inquiry report with invoice (wholesale) on it. Its a good "full disclosure" move to be comfortable with your pricing. If your dealer is too shady to share that then move on.
How much below invoice should I be shooting for on this build?

Wow, just because in usual BMW pricing engine for engine and model for model:-

X1>1 series
X3>3 series
X5>5 series

etc

I think some people are adding options that are included with the Premium and Executive packages. There are several standard options not included with the 330i. The following is my build where I included only the options that add to the MSRP.

M340i Sedan

$54,000 Base Price U.S.A. Port of Entry
$550 C31 Portimao Blue Metallic
$1,450 MANL Black Vernasca Leather w/blue contrast stitching/piping
$1,400 ZPP Premium Package
$350 4HA Front and Rear Heated Seats
$2,100 ZPX Executive Package
$300 1CR Remote Engine Start
$600 1PX 19" M Double-spoke cerium grey wheels
$875 688 Harman Kardon surround sound system
$995 Destination & Handling

$62,620 Total MSRP

230i xdrive: $37,300 (less equipped)

X3 3.0: $41,000
330i: $40,250
X3 M40i: $54,650
M340i: $56,000 (more optioned)

X5 40i: $60,700

Overall, MSRP the way I want it configured is $66,820 (including destination) which is just a few hundred more than my 2017 340i xDrive with MPPSK was configured (MSRP of $66,545). That is nearly all of the options (Metallic Paint, Leather, ZDA, ZDY, ZPK, ZPP, Rear Heated Seats, ZPX, HK Radio).

Not sure if I need to add the PDC since I think it is included in the packages, and not sure what the difference is between the standard Ambient Lighting and the optional one.

Will have to see once it gets closer to time for me to order (my lease isn't up until October). But I'm starting to think I may be in another BMW!

Using the current lease rates of the 330i and assuming a 5% discount off MSRP plus $2K loyalty, and assuming I can roll over my MSDs, the monthly works out to $779 which is not great - however, my dealer said they would sell to me for under invoice for being a repeat customer. That worked out to closer to 10% off MSRP for my 2017 340i, and it that were the case, my monthly would be ~$679 which is not too big of an increase over what I am paying now.
I was just thinking the same thing! However I have 2 more years on my lease...,but I will have one eventually!

ahh that makes a lot of sense! well it looked like the 18s are standard for the 340i, but 19s are included in the 330i msport on the website. So if I wanted 19s gotta pay extra for the 340i

note: there is no invoice price on dest + handling that carries through at full value
Dealer would not share the vehicle inquiry report...on to the next one...how much below that invoice price is a fair deal?

No rear sun shade is a bummer. Remote start at $300 is great though.
A ton more non-runflat options is excellent.
Red leather is gone.

$54,000 RWD
$550 Min Grey
$1450 Leather
$1400 Prem
$600 1PV Wheels/tires
$300 Remote Start
$875 HK Sound
$250 Ambient light
$995 Dest
$60,420 for RWD or $62,420 for AWD.

Right where I was landing with the f30. Too bad lease rates have gone up and incentives are going out the window. The monthly price will be higher by a good margin I imagine.

For reference my 2014 335i was $59,325... but adjusted for inflation equals $63,078.

My M340i is ~$7k more than my 330i build. 😮

I wish blind spot monitoring was either standard or a stand alone option. I don't want all of the other nannies, but I think that's a good safety feature.
