I'm pretty sure they have re-jigged the connected drive packages and that you will need to buy different ones going forward.

If I log on I get the below screenshot messages but unhelpfully it won't yet actually tell me what the alternatives will be.

That’s exactly what I get Rhino…. But unhelpfully doesn’t show what is available instead. I have seen that there is a connected booster or something similar that’s about £80 for the online services to continue….. but it’s not mentioned at all when I log in via app or on websites specific to my car…..

@Seaford was that what you were offered in email?

My map update still aligns with the actual three year car anniversary so is still current for a few months.

So it appeared today in my bmw app, option to buy the booster pack…
Still not had an email from them. £89

I am now encountering this issue as well.

BMW Connected Drive responded very promptly to my enquiry only to tell me that it's the retailers fault they didn't deliver the car quickly enough and they are unable to help me and that I should instead talk to the retailer. Surely the retailer has no ability to extend a connected drive subscription anyway?

Why do they make this such a complicated issue when the value of the resolution is so low?

DO NOT renew your connect drive package BEFORE the old one expires, you will loose out!

Mine expired 9/12/23 but I renewed on the 24/11/23, now expires on this date not a continuation and BMW dont give a toss!

Strange how map update and speed cameras continue from the old expiry...

Been arguing with the idiots at BMW Since December... they could not give a sh**

Will be glad to get rid of this car

Had the same issue. Had to get a refund and then reapply the day after it expired so I wasn't paying twice for the first month. Complete joke.

Aside from fixing the issue, I said they need to be clear in their email which stated you could renew now - without saying you would be immediately charged.

I said the exact same thing... people need to be told DO NOT RENEW UNTIL EXPIRY DATE

Why the other two run from the existing expiry date but the connected drive package does not is beyond me..

I email them every day now and will do until they sort it..

Now that's odd - my Connected Booster package was due to expire on 5th December last year and I renewed it on 22nd November (in the Black Friday sale) and it's set to expire on 5th December 2024.
