iphone 4 "Media Adapter"
Hi, does anyone know if the iphone 4 media adapter will display tracks on idrive when vehicle is fitted with (633) Prep. Mobile phone Bluetooth Interface, (609) Pro Navigation (612) BMW Assist... AND ipod intergration (in glovebox) not the usb type(6FL).
I bought the incorrect adapter (Basic) which only charges the iphone Any help would be appreciated...cheers Shane.

I'll stand to be corrected by those who DO know but I'm fairly certain you need the 6FL USB interface for this to work.

It doesn't work on my mates F10 5 series. The only way to get the lot on the screen was to use the cable but you need 6fl
The USB in the glovebox is just for upload/download from the HDD based media |

Cheers guys Ill just have to run the lead from the glovebox to the armrest and somehow by magic (butcher) get my new adapter open and to accommodate the plug for iphone...don't think I'll be posting a DIY just yet
