HI,

I'm looking to trade in my 18 M3 for a 3 year/10k lease on a 330ix.

Before I start negotiating I want to make sure I have my numbers correct (and realistic) for what I'm aiming for. I got the RV and MF from the updated 2020 Pricing Guide.

Why put money down on a lease?

$7500 down and $424 a month comes to roughly $630 a month with zero down. That is pretty expensive and not a good deal.

I haven't got any quotes from any dealers yet. I'm just fiddling with my numbers so when I talk to them I know what's going on.

4k of the 7.5k is dealer lowering the MSRP.
(yes this could of been more clear on my part. The other 3.5k was to cover fees, DMV, tint, maybe tax. More of a place holder number really.).

I choose 4k as I saw people mentioning they're been only able to get ~8% off of MSRP and 4k is ~8%.

What number should I shoot for? 10% or more?
Will they go lower than 0.00099 on the MF?

It seems a little high. I was quoted $511 a month on numbers similar to yours for a 330i.

MSRP $48,845
Cap cost $42,673
Drive off $1100

Also 36 months, 10K

I just got the first real quote, lol.
I'm not going to post the nitty gritty details because its terrible: 0% off of MSRP and $10k under on my trade-in. MF looks like 0.00161 instead of 0.00099.




EDIT:
The 2nd Dealer I contacted cut off all communication from me after I said I want lower than MSRP. lol things are going great for me.

.00099 is the base MF. Can't go lower than that unless you put MSD's down.
