My M340i's suspension squeaks
I have a M340xi with around 5800 miles on it, since last few months the car has been making a squeaking noise from both side of the front suspension, whenever it goes over a bump or uneven surface, the sound is like "Pssch".
As it was finally time for the first oil change, I mentioned the problem to the service center, they had the car for 5 days and said it was difficult to find out the cause of the squeaking noise, later on when I got the car back, the noise is still happening and in the service record, the technician had just commented. "Vehicle test drove. Noise over bump can be heard only from pressurized gas on struts" Does any other M340 owners are facing this issue or its normal for a M340. |

I can def hear the pressurized gas when I go over bumps. If this is what you're referring to- then yes it's normal. Have heard it on both of my BMW's

This is completely normal. Just noise from struts releasing pressure. You'll hear it more on bumpy roads obviously
