2023 M440i 2 Dr Coupe?

My 2022 M440i 2-Door Coupe in San Remo Green is on the ship on its way to me. I have been trying to see what changes they are making to the 2023 so I don't have immediate regrets, and I can't find anything about the 2-door, only the Gran Coupe.

Does anyone know if they are discontinuing it?

Doubt they’re discontinuing it as it’s a relatively new model. Only big change might be ID8–the new iDrive.

PS: You will love it.

There are a few features not available on the 2 dr that I hope I don't miss, like park assistant and 360 cameras. HUD is only available on the M (yay, at least I got that!)

the 4 series came after the 3 series so the 3 series gets the LCI/updates for the 2023 model but I don't think the 4 series will get updated till next year. Just my guess

I just spoke to the geniuses to track my 2022 M440i 2 dr coupe, and she said she does have the ordering guide for the 2023 and it will have the new curved screen.

But my car is arriving at the port on 7/22 with no stop sale and the 2023s aren't even in the build your own yet. Not willing to wait a few more months for the 2023.

I'm too excited to go from the X5 (bus) to something sporty again!

I wonder if it will have the shift lever or if they are getting rid of that as well. Keep us posted!

i had committed to a '22 m440i, knowing all options and price. the dealership then called and said it would be '23. they have no information about the options or price - - but they want a credit card hold on the mystery vehicle. build date is some unknown time in july and delivery in roughly sept.

I ordered cognac as well! Your photo is gorgeous. I can't wait. Now I am actually glad I got the 22, because I love my shift lever and how I can quickly throw it into sport.

The new one. But this is a Gran Coupe, not the 2-door.

Guys, don't believe everything you see on the internet. That video is just another piece of bullshit put together by someone looking for clicks. You should have been suspicious when a video that is supposedly for the 4 series GC starts off with shots of the 3 series LCI, then goes to the B4 Alpina, then the 4 GC, and keep switching back and forth between them. Worst of all, it is uses text-to-speech reading rather than an actual commentator.

That looks like the 3 series LCI interior. This is a picture of the 2022 4 series GC interior. Notice where the door handle is, and compare it to what is shown in the video. This is proof that that the interior in the video is not the 4 series GC.

I wouldn't trust a BMW "Genius" either for car knowledge. Most of them don't know a thing more than what is already public information.
As someone suggested earlier, the 4 series Coupe is a 2021 model year vehicle and the Grand Coupe is a 2022 model year vehicle. 2023 is too soon for any LCI type updates.

Here's the list of 2023 changes from BMW itself. Scroll down pass the price changes and you'll see the equipment changes.

I think the 430 GC was available as a 2021, no?

Well this makes me feel better. Sadly the parking assistant and 360 cameras was not an option for me when I ordered, I guess due to chip shortages. That was the one thing I really regretted not getting in my X5. Hopefully it won't matter as much with the m440i.

The G42 2 series was on the market for 1 model year, and less than 9 months of production before getting the new display and iDrive 8. Based on the future model I formation thread and other models getting the new screen, there is good reason to believe the 4 series is as well.

Well this seems to answer the question and the per this, the 4 series isn't getting the updated screen yet.
