If the mileages in the cluster is less than the car it's going into it'll be fine as it will just update.

However, if the mileage on the new car is less than the cluster, you need to pull off the eprom and code it - in which case get a coder to do this

Not the case with G20 Live Cockpit. It has an additional ethernet protection and it will black out if it detects another vin. Until now It is not possible to virginize Live cockpit that I know of. Read/write eprom does not work like it does with 6WB.

I got in contact with one guy that does that all the time but on G30s, which I believe it's the same for the G20, he did say though he hasn't try that new one on G20 but could be the same. He did say that G30 has protection so no more like the 6wb..

This is the chip that's been harassing me.. 35128WT

This is the one that's on the live cockpit professional cluster from a G20.

I wonder if a direct swap could work? Since it should match my car's...

Because mine only has the analog cluster, coding the DKOMBI seems to be the easiest part at this point..

In which case just buy a brand new cluster as parts, and there will be zero issues installing it

Fair enough - though is you tank your head unit flashing it ( which will be needed ) it'll end up more expensive!

You can't swap EEPROMs. Flashing won't help either. You need programmer to virginize M35128WT.
