May I ask why you decided to switch to mpe? I believe the AA would be more louder and obnoxious, while the mpe would be quieter but more refined.

I love the MPE and should have done it from the start. It sounds more "sharp" where as the AA is a lot deeper of a sound. If not for the resonance I would have been fine with it but I've had an RSX typeS with a Skunk2 exhaust and I'm over those days.... |

I had the awe touring exhaust on my previous f30 340i. It was really obnoxious. To be honest, after I got the awe touring, I did not drive the car as hard since it was so loud. But that could just be me. I preferred the mppsk on the f30 340 over any aftermarket exhaust. My friend recently took off his awe track exhaust from his m340i cuz it was way too loud, keep it mind he had a catless downpipe with it. Now with my m440i I have been reluctant to get an aftermarket exhaust.

The MPE is valved just as the stock system is. Mine came with new valves so just plug them into stock harness. |
