VMR V801 staggered setup on m340i

Just got my VMR V801 staggered wheels delivered and installed on my m340i. I'm running 19x8.5 ET35 on the front with 235/40/19 Continental extremecontact sport 02 and 19x9.5 on 265/35/19 on the rear.

I went by the Apex wheel's fitment guide but all their setups had slightly different offsets and widths than what VMR had available. Big shoutout to Brandon over at VMR for helping me out, his suggested setup was pretty much spot on.

The rear fitment is perfectly flush, maybe a few mm poke. I needed a 5mm spacer for the fronts to fit otherwise they barely touched the strut. I think a 10mm spacer would get them flush.

I couldn't find any other G20's running the V801 so I was a little worried about how it'd look. I really wanted something similar to the m666 style wheel but a little less aggressive and these hit that sweet spot. Really stoked with how these came out!

Thanks! I’ve been thinking about doing this also.

Looks great! Thinking about going with this wheel in their frozen bronze in a square setup, car is also portimao blue.

I think frozen bronze will look great. I thought about doing that myself but wanted something a little more subtle.

This is the standard Anthracite Metallic finish. It looks great but the metallic is very subtle. If I were to do it again I’d pay extra for a custom finish or the Titanium Black Shadow.

What ET do you run on rear 35 or 45? Thinking about buying the same setup with 235 and 265 tires. Would you recommend 10 or 12 mm spacers for front wheel?

Hey Andy,

Not sure if you've had a chance to pick up a set yet, but we now offer an ET25 front so no spacers are needed! If you're interested in a set, feel free to shoot me an email @ brandon@velocitymotoring.com and I'll be happy to provide more info and pricing!
