I hope you get on that ship so you can cancel the subscription to vessel finder Shoot us some pics of the wash setup if you have time and remember. Looking for a nice electric pressure washer so I can start washing the car at home.
I'll try to get you some pictures one of these days... lmao.

The shop was a 'rona project that is technically not finished, but it's roughly 80% done. I just spent some of this spring throwing out junk and trash we had in there, and now I'm getting into the organization and flooring here soon.

The biggest obstacle is the three classic cars I have in there. As much as I would love to keep them, they must go because they're a lot of work. Yes, they're completely restored, but no one tells you how much work it is to own cars like that, and while I did have an idea, older cars just want to be driven, and when you don't they aren't all that reliable. I might keep one, but I'm undecided. It makes you wonder how many people Jay Leno employs full-time to ensure they're properly cared for.

As far as pressure washers go, I'm happy to go into the weeds with you about that if you'd like. What you need is really all about your budget and what you're looking to get out of a pressure washer in terms of use case, etc.

Sorry, I haven't posted the status... been kinda sorta not looking at this forum as much so I don't drive myself crazy. I was also in Berlin all last week, so I was pretty tapped out.

Feel free to @ me anytime you want an update. That goes for anyone else here as well.

Looks like she's almost home.

Thank you I appreciate it, I hope you had a great trip, always wanted to go to Berlin. I hit up Switzerland and Italy last year and had an amazing time. I really hope your car gets on a ship soon!

Haha thanks, i look forward to the pics. Love seeing a nice setup.

I love classics as well, especially American muscle. Never realized sitting there will mess them up. I watched a nice video on Leno and his garage on youtube. Its insane what goes on in that garage daily. Tim Allen as well. If i can find links i will shoot them over.

As far as pressure washers, i would be looking to go no more than 2100 psi. I have a 3400 psi gas for my house, the new one would be electric and for the cars only.

Yeah, all three are American Muscle and Tremec 6spd. All of them are pretty much completely restored, with the Mustang needing some more love.
  • The first one is a 1967 Mustang fastback with a 347 Stroker, Holley EFI. It's pretty raw, has coilovers, and a Maier MOD suspension setup.
  • The second one is a 1970 Olds 4-4-2, with Hurst/Olds badging as a tribute. It's a cool car, but it's super sloppy. It's a great cruiser, though.
  • The last one is a 1967 GTO with an LS7 out of a Z06. Such a fun car, and I'm thinking about keeping this one.

On the pressure washers... You don't need some high-powered monster; you just need good flow at a modest pressure, as outlined here.

Also, are you looking for something that can be mounted on the wall and combined with a hard water treatment, or does it need to be mobile? My suggestions won't matter because some can be mounted, but some can also be used wherever, although you could easily have both. I know you just bought a G8x, but how much are you willing to spend on a pressure washer setup? I guess the reason I'm bringing that up is not everyone sees the same value in things.

Also interested to hear the timeline for those that were unloaded at Baltimore. Looks like you guys should’ve been on a carrier by now?

I have been at the port in Baltimore since the 16th and am only an hour away to the dealership and still no movement. My SA stated it’s 3-5 days.

Yeah I’m in Indy and status changed to at port last Thursday. I called Friday and genius said that I would be on a carrier today, still no change. They did say it was subject to change. Not sure what is happening at the VPC hopefully we get on a carrier soon.
