I'll add this to the "Review" Thread but figured people might want to see this without digging for it:

That interior door trim looks like trash. Worse than an F30.

At 2:47 in the video Doug made a big mistake.
The Aluminium Tetragon Trim is the trim in the interior, the stuff on the dashboard and centre console. The trim around the grille is called 'Cerium Grey'. |

Doug tells there is a clear margin for the real M with respect to directness and steering feel to be covered. Is this true? Does the M340i feel indeed a bit remote, muted and filtered?
I recently drove the Tesla 3 performance and I was seduced by its directness and nimble, crispy feel as from the go. How the M340i stacks up compared to M3 and Tesla? Any experience? |

I love M 340 steering. I have x drive, 19 with pilot 4s. Direct, heavy, communicative steering. Put it this way - you can not tell you are driving x drive car. it does not under-steer easily and tucks in to turns immediately. Car drifts beautifully and dances through correct /pause /return on drifts I love it. |

- M340 has variable steering standard - M340 has LSD standard (probably didn't kick in during review to really have power delivery impact on steering, though) Gone are the days of the mid-tier (e.g. M340) having the same suspension as compared to the entry level 3 series model. |
