T Cut on Cirium?
Hi, I have a couple of stubborn marks on the grill surround which is in cirium grey. Anyone tried T Cut on this or any other suggestions? Thanks

What kind of marks? The most likely culprit is mineral deposits from water drying, in which case a water spot remover will be your best bet. A polish is safe to use on cerium trim though for reference.

Thanks for the comments. I should have said- car has been in garage and think mechanic has either put greasy hands on it or rubbed something on it - hard to tell what it is. I will try some mild cleaners. I have autoglym super resin so may try that.

Is your paintwork GTechniq coatings like your wheels?

If you're considering ceramic for the paintwork soon then, just a suggestion, but maybe wait until then and have your chosen detailer sort those marks out for you prior to applying the coating?
When the guy I used did mine when the car was less than a month old he meticulously did a paintwork check and preparation before applying the GTechniq serum ultra coating. Even he had to do some light machine polishing of the factory finish to get it to a stage which he was happy with before applying the coating. |
