Kies Spoiler sale
If anyones looking for a spoiler, I've just found this from Kies Motorsport and it looks pretty good but relatively expensive. Is this worth the price?

I ended up ordering the new M3 spoiler and it looks awesome. The splitter came from CA after about 8 months. It is not OEM.

I ordered an M4 style one from Automodz (link below for the G22 but they have even more G20 options). When it arrives and I get it installed I will post pics.

Although its more than what people will probably want to spend, I installed the Autotecknic Dry Carbon Competition Plus spoiler. Quality and fitment is amazing and I love how it follows the natural lines of the car.

Perhaps not the best first post, but - AA Concepts has an end of summer 10% discount code running now and has a few nice looking CF options - M3 CS rep, M3 CS with a higher kick up, M4 style, and an M3 "performance style" that looks closer to the M Performance spoiler.
I've gone back and forth on options for the last few weeks and finally pulled the trigger on their M3 CS replica - will post back once I have it installed. Should be very similar to Mazman and the dravit grey M340i that has pics floating around here. Anyway, hope that helps - seems hard to beat for ~$250 shipped. |

So finally installed my AA Concepts M3 CS rep carbon fiber lip.
FIT: The fitment is great. I'd say A-, if OEM is A to A+. Basically, almost OEM fit. FINISH: The CF weave is perfect throughout the lip itself, and the clear coat is well done without any orange peel. If I had a qualm, it's that the lip mold is a little wavy - when you view the top of the lip from the side of the car, you can see where it's not perfectly smooth across. For a <$300 lip, this is still much better than average. But beware, if you want perfect, then buy an OEM part. INSTALL: Relatively straightforward, albeit a bit nerve-racking. Process below: 1. Remove your existing lip by first lining the length of the trunk lid where it meets the rear side of the spoiler with painters tape. 2. Pry up the existing lip using a bondo spreader or nylon pry tool (I used the nylon pry tool that IND-distribution includes in their install kit for painted reflectors). 3. Don't worry about the tape residue, and don't try to scratch or rub it off with your hands. 4. Work the length of the lip and remove. 5. Apply 1/4" "3M Auto Exterior Attachment" tape to all edges of the AA Concepts spoiler. This is where 1/4" tape is handy since it bends to shape well. More common 1/2" tape is overkill and likely a PITA to apply to the part. 6. Remove tape residue using a 3M Stripe Off Wheel Adhesive Remover Eraser Wheel attached to a drill. This is the nerve-racking part - I'd never used one of these, and it seemed like this would abrade the paint. TRUST IT - it's f'n magic and I wouldn't even attempt this job in the future without this wheel. Within about 5 minutes using the wheel, all of the leftover adhesive was gone and the paint was perfect. I applied some bug and tar remover to a few straggling bits but otherwise all was well. 7. I removed all remaining waxes, sealants, whatever using a ceramic coat prep spray that removes wax, but an isopropyl alcohol wipe works equally well. Basically, you want the paint to "squeak" afterward. 8. Install the lip - remove the backing from the tape on any hard to reach spots, and get a bit of a start with the backing on the other spots. Very gently align the lip on the trunk, then remove backing and stick firm. 9. Admire your work, and apply sealant / wax. 10. Finished product below: |

Yes, but it took a little while, maybe a month or so though. I didnt receive any communications from them after ordering for the better part of that time and when I eventually emailed they sent me the tracking info. At that stage I got it pretty quickly, but I think it may already have been in transit.

Hello guys
Do whatever you want, but dont buy this one. There is no way for it to fit on your trunk due to shape and material. It pushes itself back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-2019-20...-127632-2357-0 |
