It showed also tire pressures in the "Check Control" display (where my version only shows "no problems" and Engine Oil OK). But in the (withdrawn) screen dump the pressure was a bit lower than recommended, and I don't know what my app will show if my tires were that low.

The latest production version of the app, 1.7, displays tire pressure, tire wear (how does it know?) and additional info about engine oil. The original post on this thread jumped the gun by a few days but it is now out on the App Store for Iphones.

My tire pressure popped up in my BMW App today. I assume the reading indicated on the App is at the time of the last time parked, when tires are Hot from driving; and not a Cold reading. Not sure if this is such useful information

The shown nominal pressure also depends on temperature (although the measured temperature is not shown). I think I can use it to know the recommended relative adjustment to do before driving off (with cold tires) the next time.
