Bimmertech Amplifier Upgrade for Hi-Fi

I haven't seen a thread dedicated for this amp upgrade, so figured I'd start one up. I'm researching things before committing to the purchase, and I've a few questions that I can't seem to find answers for, so I'm hoping there's some owners that are willing to chime in.

Bimmertech is selling ASD deactivation with the amp. Is this any different than deactivating with Bimmercode or is it a physical deactivation via cable/dongle?

Been reading that turn signals is super loud with the amp. Any fixes or workarounds with that?

It is the same deactivation - by coding.

You need to adjust the amp/DSP channel gain settings and gong volume in your iDrive system to get the gong volume proportional to the audio volume level.

Your responses are much appreciated! I'm assuming you have the amp. Any pro-tips with getting and installing it, or things you wished you knew before going in?

How are your speakers holding up post install? I'd like to think just fine, but then again it's more power coming to the speakers.

I don't think they have an upgrade for the HK system.

The Match UP-10BMW with the Booster harness is the PnP amp/DSP upgrade for the HK(688) system.

The BimmerTech amp can be re-wired to work with the HK(688), but it will not be PnP. Contact BimmerTech for details.

Encanto - for HiFi (676), would you recommend the Bimmertech amp or the Match UP7 DSP as an upgrade? I am looking to improve the standard setup to get a bit more clarity/detail/depth, and adding an amp seems to be the way to start. From what I managed to put together so far, the Bimmertech solution seems to be a bit more turn-key for installation/integration, but I wonder if the Match UP7 DSP is perhaps a bit ahead on performance. TIA.

Both amps are made by Audiotec Fischer.

Looks like Bimmertech has a 15% coupon for "Black Friday" - I might try the amp and see how the stock speakers handle it.

Yeah, I've been debating taking advantage of the deal too.
