M340i bass stopped working
I’ve owned my car 9 days and I’m loving it.
Today I got into the car after work and noticed that the bass completely wasn’t working in the sound system! When I got home I parked the car. 20 min went back into the garage and restarted iDrive and the bass was working again. I have the Harmon Kardon system. I’ve read in Bimmer forums that this is a known problem for some people. Is this something that I should take up with the dealer or should I just not waste my time? |

Hey Bud, I had the similar issue but mine happen 24 hrs after I got the car. The amp needed to be replaced. I wrote about it here on the blog. Make an appointment with the dealer to have it looked into that issue. Keep us posted.

in fact there are many discussions in the forum around this topic, you can even find the version of the amp that need to be replaced.
my 2020 m340 presented this issue from day one ... the dealer changed the head unit..finding that that wasn't the problem.. on may of this year they told me that the amp need to be replaced..... since then I have been waiting for the amp as there is a lack of components and haven't been posible to be provided good luck |
