back end and side profile look pretty accurate. As well as the head lights. The front end however I feel should have a place designed for the front license plate to fit. why would they want the licence plate in front of the grill?

Hopefully there's no glory hole for the ACC sensor but I'm afraid it'll stay like that.. hell Audi isn't even trying to hide their sensors in their grill in the new A6/A7... at least theirs are symmetrical, though.

Need to see it in the metal first before making final judgement but still not hating the direction for an eventual G80 acquisition.

Rear looks nice, very Lexusesque but nice and sleek nonetheless. The front grille is gonna take some getting used to.

I agree, but I don't think they'd be pushing this grill this hard if they didn't think it would resemble it this closely. Will it be exact? probably not... will it be close? probably

Non-believers better get ready. Jason isn't pulling these renders out of his ass and SCOTT26 already confirmed them. When the car turns out to look exactly like [or very close to] the renders, I'll be waiting for the non-believers to admit they were wrong.

All known BMW employee/representative accounts that I have read absolutely confirmed them, and spy shots support those confirmations.

There is no way that grille makes it on the 4 series, look at the new x6 design, or the 8 series. It will follow along those lines.

Some design element in these renders are based on the f30, the hood on the G20 now extends all the way to the grille. There will be no awkward line across the front of the hood.

Nobody is saying that all of the lines will be exact, BUT the grills will be there. It is the grills that are the source of debate and controversy here.

Grille we know that it will be unique, but the roofline seems wrong.

I think it's a shame really, because this is looking like an absolutely gorgeous package overall *except the grille*

Would love to see someone put an F8x style kidney on this for the hell of it.

I think it's crazy BMW believes that a massive grille (that a license plate has to stick on top of like this) actually looks good. For everyone saying it will look like an 8 series I hate to break it to you, but you've missed a lot of insider posts.
