Back does not fit the front. I think it will look similar to the 8 series. If it looks like the render, I will skip the M3 go w AMG, or if my wallet allows a porsche or M5.

I kinda like the renders, but the front won’t look like that. There’s absolutely no room for European license plates, and they are mandatory over here.

I bet there will be a beam splitting the grille in half. Top side will have two kidneys, bottom half will be one piece. Sorta like the render in green but without the kidneys underneath the license plate.

I also think it’s too agressive for the regular 4 Series. Fits better for M4.

This shit’s clear pandering to non-western markets. Same thing they did with the 7er refresh, X5/X7, upcoming glowing 5 series kidneys, etc.

Overall, it looks good. but, I'm not sold on the huge kidney grill. it looks like its touching and/or dragging on the ground. Somewhat reminded me of Lexus ES350.

Isn’t the 4 Series the same as the 3 Series with two fewer doors? The G20 is already in production and has totally different grills. What are the chances that the 3 Series will have different grills from the 4 Series?

And where would we put the number plates? I only give it 5% of chance of looking like that, especially the grills.

The 3 and 4 have ALWAYS had different grilles. And the M3 sedan has shared the coupe front end in the previous generations.

So it's not only possible, it's precedented.

Agreed. And pushing the grilles out wider would make the "mouth" underneath the grilles wider with more depth. Right now the mouth looks kind of like a sad little grin. I think the proportions would be much better if the mouth was bigger since right now the front end looks too upright and flat.

That grill ruins the car. Did they actually get feedback before changing the grill. Different is not necessarily better.
