Hey guys,

Having this new thing happen on my G20. When the car warms up to operating temp and gets on the hotter side (outside temps) I find that when I stop, shift into reverse and start rolling I get a weird rotational ticking sound coming from seemingly the front of the transmission. This sound only occurs when I press the brake pedal and only for a moment. Same happens when I shift back into drive, start rolling forward …press brake pedal and bingo…short ticking. Sounds like a possible failing torque converter ? I’m assuming there is some disengaging happening when I press the brake pedal and come to stop on a very slow roll?

Any ideas ?
