Does my bumper need a repaint?

Does my bumper need a total repaint? Or should I use BMW OEM touch up paint? And how does the bmw oem touch up paint compare to DrColorChip? Thanks.

Hard to tell. Try getting it polished out first.

The first layer of the paint is gone. But the primer is still there.

If it were me, I'd get the bumper repainted. Touch update paint is never going to look great.

Touch-up is fine on small areas of paint loss like rock chips or tiny scratches or places where it isn't visible. In your case, you'll need a repaint. Not a full bumper repaint. A good shop should be able to blend it in really well.

I'd go to a body shop . They can either buff it or they'll suggest repainting. I wouldn't try the touch up paint, too big.
