Anyone experienced this? Warm day window down, got home went to put window up and nothing
Luckily ive a garage so left over night, tried this morning and still wont go up, tried all other windows and they wont go down?

Does the window go up with comfort close? (Hold the lock button down on the key).

You can try to Turn it off and on again, i.e. disconnect battery for a minute.

Ive managed to get it up now, but its just odd? Ill see if it sorts itself out if not ill do that disconnect battery if no better ill ring dealer, thanks

I haven’t had trouble with the windows on my G20 but did on the
previous F30.
This worked in resetting the windows.
Hold down both left and right front window buttons in driver's door
for 30 seconds.
Then use button to raise windows.

Did the mirrors fold? Sounds like when the mirror motors die and cause the entire window/mirror panel inside the car to stop working. You'll notice it's not illuminated like other buttons.

On the F30, I remember now that the driver’s mirror wouldn’t fold out.
It was intermittent.
New control module fitted for this.

Worked this morning but stopped again, least the window is up
Ill try the two buttons together see if that does it

This is the most likely cause. Faulty electronic module in one of the mirrors can cause such issues. It will behave erratic at first and finally will give up completely.

That sounds plausible too
About 6 weeks ago the drivers side mirror didnt fold out
Just put it done to sticking so oiled it and it worked from then on
When the window didn't go up i noticed the wing mirror hadnt folded out either
Everything is working normally now

Nothing really
Just didnt use til yesterday after id got window up

Well looks like I'm going to have to ring dealer
Wing mirrors folding in and out fine, but drivers window not responding at all to door buttons
The windows do drop using the key fob and the app. So I'm guessing not a motor issue, but software?

So latest is, car has gone in to dealer
Was there for 08:30 for "an hour, hour and a half max" job
Been there all day and still not fixed, haven't had a full story back other than the obvious didnt work and now they are trying to find the root cause? See what today brings

Still in the garage, day 2
Not the fix they thought, its now getting a new wiring loom fitted, but wont get done today
They dont know if this is the cause, they are now changing things until they find it

We have pool cars as its a company car
Im ok that way, but a diesel passat estate is a big step down lol

Its back
3 days, for an hours job. But at least its fixed and i have it back
Electronic module and new wiring loom required
