Mo money, mo money, mo money.
Exactly...so now if you still want some typical BMW iconic elements, it's not enough to buy a BMW, you have to spend even more $$$ on options :
Nothing new here. Same as the halogen versus optional led drl's.

Probably because the Chinese EV copied the 8 series taillights!

I’m thankful for that. I like what I can see from the concept, unedited leaks and mules but I dislike most renders including this one.

I'm not crying at all. I've got a 2020 440i xdrive convertible m sport. One that has the good grill.

That's not going to make a guy look back walking away after parking. Plus never be able to back it in cause you'll have to hide that front end.

I posted a rear real pick above... rear bumper is definitely wrong on red render...

Well, started to getting used to the grille. Bear in mind the grill will be split by a number plate.
I think it will look great and they will sell like hot cakes, once the virus is gone though

I just saw a tv production of motor week and they did a spot on new cars that were not able to be shown at Geneva. Astons, BMWs, Merc, Audis, Jags, etc.

They ran one after another, all pretty striking, until they got a BMW headon with the Edsel grill. I almost threw up.

How in the world did BMW think this was attractive? My only hope to stay in the BMW family is that by the time I am ready to replace my 2018 530e BMW will have fired its design director and replaced the grills with something attractive.

I think most of Bimmerpost has been hit with grill derangement syndrome. The need to be a vocal hater in such relentless fashion really robs the joy from this forum. The Ultimate Driving Machine has never really been the ultimate looking machine.

People have a right to voice their opinion. Isn't that what a forum is about?

I think of forums as places to share info, help each other out, learn, etc. Sure, opinion sharing is part of it, but this non-stop, hysterical, blathering about grills just seems to hijack every thread. Who knows when opinion turns into habitual ranting, but we are heading in that direction. I hate to see Bimmerpost turn into the same garbage our news outlets on both sides of the aisle have devolved into. That's just my opinion. You certainly are entitled to yours, but think about whether you want this thing to look like the crazy comments on twitter and beneath every Yahoo news article.

On the bright side the "blathering about grilles" is only on the M3/4 and 4 series threads.
